Staff Housing Maintenance Person

We are currently seeking a full-time permanent Staff Housing Maintenance Worker, required to work day shifts, evening shifts, weekends and holidays. This position will consist of two days a week working in staff housing and the remaining days working in the hotels Wage based on experience.

Duties include (but are not limited to):
• Consistently offer professional, engaging and friendly service
• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on heating, cooling, plumbing and electrical systems
• Comfortable with light carpentry and painting drywall
• Ensure a safe work environment is maintained at all times with a commitment to working safely
• Empty recycling centres located on the staff housing grounds
• Complete colleague’s requests in a timely manner

Ideal Candidate:

Terrace Bartender/Fine Dining Server

We are currently seeking a full-time permanent Fine

Dining Server with Bartender experience, required to work day shifts, evening
shifts, weekends and holidays with opportunities for overtime hours.

Duties Include (but are not limited to):

  • Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service to provide memorable dining experiences, exceeding our guests’ expectations
  • To have full knowledge of all food and beverage menus in the Terrace and all other special promotions in the hotel
  • Assist guests regarding all beverage menu items in an informative and helpful way

Relief Housekeeping Supervisor (Bow View Lodge)

Seeking one full-time, permanent Relief Housekeeping Supervisor, required to work day shifts, evening shifts, weekends and holidays with opportunities for overtime. Two days per week as Supervisor, three days per week as Room Attendant. The wage will be based on experience, for 35-40 hours per week.

Duties Include (but are not limited to):
• Sweep, mop and wash floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture
• Make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries, stock linen closet, clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
• Handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other item
• Work under pressure, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks, physically demanding, attention to detail, bending, crouching and kneeling
• Training of new staff and ongoing training of existing staff
• Conducting room inspections and quality checks
• Supporting other staff by taking a hands-on approach to ensure great customer service
• Additional duties as assigned
