The Peaks Hotel & Suites is the sister property to the Bow View Lodge and the iconic Banff Park Lodge, a fully serviced Resort Hotel and Conference Centre.

We are seeking a full-time talented Night Auditor, required to work night shifts, weekends and holidays. The wage will be negotiated based on experience, for 40 hours per week. Pending on staffing levels and hotel occupancies, you may be required to assist at the other properties.

Duties include (but are not limited to):
Ideal Candidate:

  • Always greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Engage each guest as a unique individual and listen attentively to their requests.
  • Perform accurate check-ins and check-outs of guests daily.
  • Answer the telephone in a timely and professional manner.
  • Make reservations over the phone and in person and ensure all aspects of the room reservation procedure are followed, including bookings, confirmations + cancellation policies.
  • Responsible for a cash float throughout your shift and ensuring all floats balance correctly at the end of shift.
  • Anticipate and address guest’s service needs.
  • Listening to guest’s complaints or concerns and resolving their issue in a timely manner
  • Promote a safe working environment.
  • Learn and adhere to all fire and emergency procedures, including procedures for handling of the fire panel, ensuring guest safety.
  • Practice safe working habits, including bending and lifting appropriately to avoid injury, reporting hazards, appropriate use of cleaning chemicals and working to minimize tripping hazards.
  • Keep work area neat and tidy.
  • Uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional.
  • Manage nightly hotel operations.
  • Verify revenue from all sources is accurately balanced, follow up on any discrepancies.
  • Post any transactions needed.
  • Perform end-of day procedures.
  • Produce daily reports for departments and department heads.
  • Compile and run statistical reports for all departments and transfer information to our Accounting department.
  • Ensure proper balancing of postings completing End of Day process and completing all reporting functions.
  • Assists Overnight Bell Desk Attendant with the security of the hotel.
  • Front desk and reservation duties as scheduled.
  • Implement and maintain all company policies and procedures.
  • Has 1-to-2-year previous hotel front desk or reservation experience.
  • Has a valid work permit to work in Canada.
  • Able to work alone as well as in a team environment, as night shifts will be your predominant shift the ideal candidate will have a good understanding of overnight work.
  • Is a capable multi-tasker with a keen attention to detail.
  • Has a professional, yet friendly, personality and demeanor in person and over the telephone.
  • Has excellent English comprehension and communication skills; a second language is an asset as we welcome many international guests.
  • Has experience working with Microsoft Office.

Bow View Lodge Room Attendant

Seeking a full-time, permanent Room Attendant, required to work day shifts, weekends and holidays. The wage will be negotiated based on experience, for 30-40 hours per week.

Duties Include (but are not limited to):
• Sweep, mop and wash floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries
• Stock linen closet, clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures, handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies
• Provide basic information on facilities, pick up debris and empty trash containers, wash windows, walls and ceilings
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Ideal Candidate:
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be capable of lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds
• Must follow grooming standards
• Experience is an asset


Room Attendants

We are currently seeking full-time, permanent Room Attendants, required to work day shifts, weekends and holidays with opportunities for overtime. The wage will be negotiated based on experience, for 30-40 hours per week. The start date for this position will be March 1st, 2021. Location to be confirmed.

• Sweep, mop and wash floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries
• Stock linen closet, clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures, handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies

La Terraza Bartender

Seeking full-time, permanent Bartender. The wage will be negotiated based on experience, for 30-40 hours per week.

Duties Include (but are not limited to):

  • Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service to provide memorable dining experiences, exceeding our guests’ expectations
  • To have full knowledge of all food and beverage menus in the Terrace and all other special promotions in the hotel
  • Assist guests regarding all beverage menu item in an informative and helpful way
  • Serve, clear and re-set tables in a timely manner and assist with in room dining orders
  • Mix drinks and control the beverage stock as per guidelines
  • Have full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods
  • Maintain a clean and well stocked environment for our guests
  • Handle guest concerns and react quickly and professionally
  • Operate all equipment used in the Terrace in a safe and proper manner
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages
  • Demonstrate a complete understanding of the restaurant policies, procedures and service standards
  • Be familiar with and actively participate in emergency, safety and security procedures

We are currently seeking full-time, permanent House Persons, required to work day shifts, evening shifts, weekends and holidays. The wage will be negotiated based on experience for 30-40 hours per week. The anticipated start date for this position will be mid-January 2021.

  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment of all the public spaces throughout the property
  • Sweep, mop and wash floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, distribute clean towels and toiletries
  • Stock linen closet, clean and disinfect public bathrooms and fixtures, handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies

Banff Park Lodge Bell Desk Attendant

We are currently seeking full-time, permanent Bell Desk Attendant, required to work day shifts, evening shifts, weekends and holidays.

Duties Include (but are not limited to):

  • Assist with Front Desk duties such as check-in, check-outs, making guest keys, etc.
  • Answer all incoming phone calls in a professional manner
  • Ensure driveway and entrance are clean and clear of garbage, dirt, snow and ice
  • Greet guests upon arrival and open doors
  • Control incoming and out-going traffic
  • Correctly identify stored bags
  • Bring baggage up to guests’ rooms and retrieve them when requested
  • Deliver housekeeping items and packages to guest rooms or respective departments
  • Take and retrieve luggage carts as required
  • Park cars and retrieve cars as per request with diligence and care
  • Flexibility to work AM, PM, overnight shifts and split shifts when required.
  • Being knowledgeable of the Hotel, its layout and services
  • Being knowledgeable of Banff National Park, activities and dining options
  • Provide a high standard of customer service


Ideal Candidate:

  • Valid Canadian work permit
  • Reliable and can commit to at least 12 months of employment
  • Has 1-to-2-year previous hotel experience at the front desk, bellman, concierge, reservations or related experience.
  • Is a capable multi-tasker with keen attention to detail

Front Desk Agent

Seeking full-time, permanent Front Desk Agents, required to work day shifts, evening shifts, weekends and holidays. The wage will be negotiated based on experience.

Duties Include (but are not limited to):
• Take, cancel and change room reservations, process telephone calls
• Provide information on hotel facilities and services, provide general information and services required for guests with special needs
• Customer service oriented work with minimal supervision
• Clerical duties (i.e faxing, filing, photocopying)
• Reading text, document use, numeracy, writing, communication, working with others and problem solving
• Decision making, critical thinking job task planning and organizing

Dishwasher

We are currently seeking full-time permanent Dishwashers, required to work day shifts, evening shifts, weekends and holidays with opportunities for overtime hours. The salary for this position is based on experience, 30-40 hours per week. Multiple start dates available.

Duties Include (but are not limited to):

• Ensure clean and sanitary conditions of dish washing areas and relative kitchen spaces
• Provide clean dishes, cutlery, baking & buffet equipment
• Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service
• General cleaning - mopping, sweeping, scrubbing, cleansing, polishing

Crave Mountain Grill Server

Seeking full-time, permanent Crave Mountain Grill Servers, required to work day shifts, evening shifts, weekends and holidays with opportunities for overtime. The wage will be negotiated based on experience for 30 hours per week.

Duties Include (but are not limited to):
• Present bills to customers and accept payment
• Describe menu items including daily specials for customers, advise on menu selections
• Describe and advise on wine selection, present, and serve wine in appropriate wine glassware
