Room Attendants

We are currently seeking full-time, permanent Room Attendants, required to work day shifts, weekends and holidays with opportunities for overtime. The wage will be negotiated based on experience, for 30-40 hours per week.

Duties Include (but are not limited to):
• Sweep, mop and wash floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries
• Stock linen closet, clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures, handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies
• Provide basic information on facilities, pick up debris and empty trash containers, wash windows, walls and ceilings
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Ideal Candidate:
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• Must be capable of lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds
• Must follow grooming standards
• Experience is an asset


Chef de Partie

We are currently seeking a full-time permanent Chef De Partie, required to work day shifts, evening shifts, weekends and holidays with opportunities for overtime hours. The salary for this position is based on experience, 30-40 hours per week.

Duties Include (but are not limited to):

  • Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities for a formal hotel dining room
  • Estimate food requirements, prepare and cook meals and specialty foods including dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Instruct cooks in preparation, garnishing and presentation of food and in new cooking techniques
  • Plan menus, ensure quality of food and portion control and create new recipes
  • Requisition food, kitchen supplies and equipment
  • Supervise cooks and kitchen staff

Ideal Candidate:

  • Cook trade certification required from a recognized vocational or technical college
  • Three or more years’ experience in commercial cooking
  • Fluent in English language (orally and written, and accurate numeracy)
  • Working with others and supervising in a team environment
  • Must be bondable
  • Must possess good sense of taste, good health and stamina, excellent hand eye co-ordination, good math skills, good memory for details, and be artistic and have a creative talent
  • Must have excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills and team building skills
  • Must have excellent organizational skills and maintain a calm demeanor

Bow View Lodge Relief Housekeeping Supervisor

We are currently seeking a full-time, permanent Bow View Lodge Relief Housekeeping Supervisor, required to work day shifts, evening shifts, weekends and holidays. The wage will be negotiated based on experience, for 30-40 hours per week.

Duties Include (but are not limited to):

First Cook

We are currently seeking full-time First Cooks, required to work day shifts, evening shifts, weekends and holidays. The salary for this position is based on experience, for full-time positions 30-40 hours of work per week.

Duties Include (but are not limited to):

  • Ensuring that food is properly stored and handled at all times
  • Ensuring that the quality and quantity of food prepared meets hotel standards
  • Managing a clean, sanitized work station during and at the end of shift
  • Ensuring that food waste and spoilage are kept to a minimum

Ideal Candidate:

  • Must be legally allowed to work in Canada
  • Aspiring to become an apprentice
  • One year of experience in a kitchen required, hotel restaurant cooking is an asset
  • Prepares high quality food and follows superior sanitation standards
  • Is physically capable of lifting and carrying heavy items and standing for long periods of time
  • Is a team player, able to work in close conditions with several other people

La Terrazza Fine Dining Server

We are currently seeking a full-time permanent La Terrazza Server, required to work afternoon shifts, evening shifts, weekends and holidays with opportunities for overtime hours.

Duties Include (but are not limited to):

  • Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service to provide memorable dining experiences, exceeding our guests’ expectations
  • To have full knowledge of all food and beverage menus in the La Terrazza Lounge & Dining Room and all other special promotions in the hotel
  • Serve, clear and re-set tables in a timely manner and assist with in room dining orders
  • Maintain a clean and well stocked environment for our guests
  • Handle guest concerns and react quickly and professionally
  • Operate all equipment used in La Terrazza in a safe and proper manner
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
  • Demonstrate a complete understanding of the restaurant policies, procedures and service standards
  • Be familiar with and actively participate in emergency, safety and security procedures
  • Ensure effective working relationships and clear communication with all colleagues and leaders in the restaurant and other departments
  • Utilize the environmental mission statement as a guideline for all operations
  • Follow hotel’s telephone etiquette standards
  • Constant walking and standing throughout shift; occasional lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs; frequent bending, kneeling, pushing, pulling
  • Other duties as assigned

Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous Fine Dining Food & Beverage experience is an asset
  • Working knowledge of Point of Sale System preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, self-motivated and a charismatic team player
  • Proficient in the English language, second language is an asset
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment

House Person

Front Desk Agent

Seeking full-time, permanent Front Desk Agents, required to work day shifts, evening shifts, weekends and holidays. The wage will be negotiated based on experience.

Duties Include (but are not limited to):
• Take, cancel and change room reservations, process telephone calls
• Provide information on hotel facilities and services, provide general information and services required for guests with special needs
• Customer service oriented work with minimal supervision
• Clerical duties (i.e faxing, filing, photocopying)
• Reading text, document use, numeracy, writing, communication, working with others and problem solving
• Decision making, critical thinking job task planning and organizing

Ideal Candidate
• Has 1 to 2 year previous hotel front desk or reservation experience
• Is a capable multi-tasker with a keen attention to detail
• Has a professional, yet friendly, personality and demeanor in person and over the telephone
• Has excellent English comprehension and communication skills; a second language is an asset as we welcome many international guests
• Has experience working with Microsoft Office


Dishwasher

We are currently seeking a full-time permanent Dishwasher, required to work day shifts, evening shifts, weekends and holidays with opportunities for overtime hours. The salary for this position is based on experience, 30-40 hours per week.

  • Ensure clean and sanitary conditions of dish washing areas and relative kitchen spaces
  • Provide clean dishes, cutlery, baking & buffet equipment

Crave Mountain Grill Supervisor

We are currently seeking a full-time permanent Crave Mountain Grill Restaurant Supervisor, required to work day shifts, evening shifts, weekends and holidays with opportunities for overtime hours. The salary for this position is based on experience, 30-40 hours of work per week.

Duties Include (but are not limited to):

  • Describe menu items including daily specials for customers, advise on menu selections
  • Describe and advise on wine selection, present, and serve wine in appropriate wine glassware

The salary for this position is based on experience for 30-40 hours of work per week. Multiple start dates available.

Duties Include (but are not limited to):

  • Prepare and cook complete meals
  • Ensuring that food is properly stored and handled at all times
  • Assist with the daily operation of the staff cafeteria
  • Adhere to standardized recipes and specifications in order to maintain consistency and ensure all standards are met
  • Managing a clean, sanitized work station during and at the end of the shift
  • Keeping overproduction and food waste to a minimum

Ideal Candidate:

  • Must be legally allowed to work in Canada
  • Completion of secondary school is required
  • One year of experience in a kitchen required, hotel restaurant cooking is an asset
  • Prepares high quality food and follows superior sanitation standards
