Maintenance Person

We are currently seeking a full-time permanent Maintenance Person, required to work day shifts, evening shifts, weekends and holidays. Wage to start between $17-$21.

Duties include (but are not limited to):

• Consistently offer professional, engaging and friendly service
• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on heating, cooling, plumbing and electrical systems
• Comfortable with light carpentry and painting drywall
• Ensure a safe work environment is maintained at all times with a commitment to working safely
• Empty recycling centres located on the staff housing grounds

Second Cook

We are currently seeking a full-time permanent Second

Cook, required to work day shifts, evening shifts, weekends and holidays with
opportunities for overtime hours. The salary for this position is based on
experience, 32-40 hours per week.

Duties Include (but are not limited to):

  • Ensuring that food is properly stored and handled at all times
  • Ensuring that the quality and quantity of food prepared meets hotel standards

Duties Include (but are not limited to):
• Maintain records of food costs, consumption, sales and inventory; Analyze operating costs and other data
• Prepare and cook food on a regular basis including specialty foods, or for special guests or functions
• Requisition food and kitchen supplies

• Trades certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience of 5 years in food preparation required

Terrace Fine Dining Server

Duties Include (but are not limited to):

  • Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service to provide memorable dining experiences, exceeding our guests’ expectations
  • To have full knowledge of all food and beverage menus in the Terrace Lounge & Dining Room and all other special promotions in the hotel
  • Serve, clear and re-set tables in a timely manner and assist with in room dining orders
