Bow View Lodge Relief Housekeeping Supervisor

Duties Include (but are not limited to):

  • Sweep, mop and wash floors, dust furniture, vacuum carpeting, make beds and change sheets, distribute clean towels and toiletries
  • Stock linen closet, clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures, handle and report lost and found items, attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies
  • Provide basic information on facilities, pick up debris and empty trash containers, wash windows, walls and ceilings
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Training of new staff and ongoing training of existing staff
  • Supporting other staff by taking a hands-on approach to ensure great customer service
  • Additional duties as assigned

Ideal Candidate:

  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be capable of lifting and carrying up to 20 pounds
  • Shows strong leadership and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for training
  • Brings a positive attitude and strong teamwork abilities
  • Must follow grooming standards
  • Housekeeping Room Attendant experience is required
  • Leadership experience is an asset

Bell Desk Attendant (starting September/October)

Seeking full-time, permanent Bellperson, required to work day shifts, evening shifts, weekends and holidays with opportunities for overtime. Start dates are in September/October.

Duties Include (but are not limited to):

• Greeting guests with a high standard of customer service
• Working independently and in a team environment
• Providing a wealth of knowledge of the hotel and surrounding area
• Must have a valid class 5 drivers license for providing a valet service

Ideal Candidate:

• Has 1 to 2 year previous hotel front desk or reservation experience
• Is a capable multi-tasker with a keen attention to detail
• Has a professional, yet friendly, personality and demeanor in person and over the telephone
• Has excellent English comprehension and communication skills; a second language is an asset as we welcome many international guests

Building Operator

We are currently seeking a full-time permanent Building Operator, required to work day shifts, evening shifts, weekends and holidays. Wage range $16-26 per hour, to be negotiated based on experience.

Duties include (but are not limited to):
• Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on heating, cooling, plumbing and electrical systems
• Ensure comprehensive preventative maintenance program is effectively implemented and maintained
• Maintain the pools and whirlpools by ensuring a safe chemical balance through frequent testing
• Ensure a safe work environment is maintained at all times with a commitment to working safely
• Responding and addressing any staff accommodation concerns

Ideal Candidate:
• 4th or 5th Class Power Engineer or Trades related ticket would be an asset
• Must have excellent interpersonal, communications skills and follow up skills
• Experience in preventative maintenance, energy management, fire safety, and health and safety
• Alberta Drivers License required
• Clean drivers abstract
• Computer knowledge required

Physical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):
• Constant standing and walking throughout shift
• Lifting 50lbs, frequent lifting/carrying 20lbs
• Work on ladders

Crave Mountain Grill Server (must apply in Person)

Seeking a full-time, permanent Crave Mountain Grill Server, required to work day shifts, evening shifts, weekends and holidays with opportunities for overtime. The wage will be negotiated based on experience for 32 hours per week.

Duties Include (but are not limited to):
• Present bills to customers and accept payment
• Describe menu items including daily specials for customers, advise on menu selections
• Describe and advise on wine selection, present, and serve wine in appropriate wine glassware
