As Lodge Manager the successful candidate will:

Recruit, train and schedule for all departments
Encourage staff retention by providing ‘hands on’ leadership
Ensure guest satisfaction and address concerns
Promote the lodge utilizing internet sales
Ensure occupancy and revenue objectives are met
Set future rates and create unique packages

As a self starter and hands on leader the candidate will bring:

2 years management experience in a similar sized resort hotel
Strong sales and promotional experience
Web based sales experience an asset
Current hotel PMS systems, Word, Excel and business correspondence skills

Housekeeping Room Attendant / Relief Supervisor
Previous experience preferred
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
Physically fit and able to stand, bend, crouch on a repeating basis

Human Resources Administrator
Responsibilities:
Assist the company recruitment initiatives/processes:create and post job advertisements;
prescreen employment applications; conduct reference checks; coordinate/participate in
job fairs.
Plan and conduct new employee orientation and assist managers with addressing the
training needs of their employees.
Assist employees with immigration issues. Draft necessary communications, and advise
employees on processes. Provide documentation to support the foreign worker process.
Work with legal consultants when necessary
Administer employee benefit program and WCB reportings.
Perform other related accounting/HR duties as assigned.
General administrative support such as preparing correspondence, forms and reports.
Qualifications:
Minimum two years of related experience with post-secondary studies.
Knowledge of Alberta employment standards and temporary foreign worker program.
Good working knowledge of HR system, MS Excel/Word.

Front Desk Clerk
Duties include:
Provide superior customer service to our arriving tour, conference and individual guests
Registering arrivals and departures of tours and hotel guests
Answering guest inquiries regarding rates, special packages, and general information about the hotel and local points of interest
Presenting billing for services and receiving payment; exchange foreign currency
Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash and related forms
Follow emergency safety procedures of the hotel
The ideal candidate:
Has 1 to 2 years previous hotel front desk or reservation experience
Is self-motivated and well-organized
Is a capable multi-tasker with a keen attention to detail
Has a professional, yet friendly, personality and demeanor in person and over the telephone
Has excellent English comprehension and communication skills; a second language is an asset as we welcome many international guests
Has experience working with Microsoft Office
