Welcome! The Banff Park Lodge Hotel Collective operates 3 hotel properties, Banff Park Lodge, Bow View Lodge, and Peaks Hotel & Suites. Within the Banff Park Lodge property, we operate 2 restaurants, La Terrazza and Crave Mountain Grill. This is a full-time position, offering $16.75-$18.25 per hour.

Duties include (but are not limited to):

  • Assist with Front Desk duties such as check-in, check-outs, making guest keys, etc.
  • Ensure driveway and entrance are clean and clear of garbage, dirt, snow and ice
  • Greet guests upon arrival and open doors
  • Control in-coming and out-going traffic
  • Correctly identify stored bags
  • Take and retrieve luggage and luggage carts as requested and required
  • Deliver packages to guest rooms or respective departments
  • Being knowledgeable of the Hotel, all its outlets, its layout and services
  • Being knowledgeable of Banff National Park, activities and dining options
  • Provide a high standard of customer service

Ideal Candidate / Job Requirements:

  • Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
  • Has previous hotel experience at the front desk, bellman, concierge, reservations or related experience. (Preferred.)
  • Frequent lifting and/or carrying up to 50lbs
  • Is a capable multi-tasker with keen attention to detail
  • Has a professional, yet friendly, personality and demeanour in person and over the telephone
  • Has excellent English comprehension and communication skills; a second language is an asset as we welcome many international guests
