This is a full-time/permanent position offering $15.00-15.75 per hour.

Duties Include (but are not limited to):

  • Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service to provide memorable dining experiences which exceed our guests’ expectations,
  • Maintain a full knowledge of all food and beverage menus in the restaurant and all other special promotions in the hotel,
  • Serve, clear and re-set tables in a timely manner,
  • Assist with in-room dining orders,
  • Demonstrate a complete understanding of the restaurant policies, procedures and service standards,
  • Maintain a clean and well-stocked environment for our staff and guests,
  • Handle guest concerns, responding quickly and professionally, and involving management when necessary,
  • Operate all restaurant equipment in a safe and proper manner,
  • Follow all safety, security, and sanitation policies and procedures at all times, namely when handling food and beverages,
  • Follow the hotel’s telephone etiquette standards,
  • Walk and stand throughout the shift, occasionally lifting and carrying up to 30 lbs., and frequently bending, kneeling, pushing and pulling,
  • And other duties as assigned.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Can commit to at least 6 months of employment
  • Previous Food and Beverage experience is an asset but not essential
  • Working knowledge of Point of Sale System preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
  • Energetic, enthusiastic, self-motivated and a charismatic team player
  • Proficient in the English language, second language is an asset
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment
  • Flexible in working hours
